Create satisfying eating patterns that nourish you fully
Every morning, I started a new restrictive diet. And every afternoon, I failed at that new restrictive diet, which sent me into a tailspin of guilt and self-loathing. Food was my enemy, which meant that every time I ate, I became my own enemy. I felt defeated all the time. I’ve now developed a genuine compassion for myself. I no longer spend 95% of my time berating myself for my food choices. I’m not the enemy, and neither is food. I have felt completely supported at every step of my journey. Kara meets you where you are. I started off VERY skeptical of intuitive eating, which Kara accepted fully. As time has passed, my challenges and concerns have changed and Kara has been there every step of the way.
Before working with Kara, my biggest challenge was binge eating, which made me feel helpless; I feared I would be stuck in the cycle of weight loss and weight gain for the rest of my life. After working with Kara, my binge eating completely stopped, and I now finally have a normal relationship with food. If you have the chance to work with Kara, do it! I have never felt this positive or happy in my life, and I’m learning to love myself again.
I signed up to work with Kara because I was struggling in my relationship with food and my body. I obsessed over making the “perfect” food choice, beat myself up when I made a “wrong” choice and forced myself to engage in physical activity to make up for the foods I ate. I felt out of control, anxious, and unable to truly enjoy life. But as Kara and I worked together, I learned how to look at food and my body in a whole new way. I now eat intuitively and engage in physical activity I genuinely enjoy. Working with Kara was a great decision. Life is too short to spend it restricting foods you like and obsessing over perceived imperfections about your body. I loved being cheered on by Kara; her knowledge, compassion, and optimism will change your life!
I was fearful of food and felt like so many different types of foods were "off-limits" to me. Since meeting with Kara, I've learned how to love food and not be afraid of it. She has so much compassion and does an exceptional job of walking people through the process of healing their relationship with food. I'm so grateful I've had the opportunity to grow by meeting with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to find joy in their relationship with food.
