Contrary to popular belief, carbohydrates aren’t your enemy.

* Our bodies were designed to use carbs as our primary energy source. If we don’t eat enough carbs, we will likely feel fatigued and irritable. 

* Our brains PREFER energy in the form of glucose (once in the body, all carbs break down into glucose).

✨ Our bodies resist storing carbs as fat since they are used preferentially by our bodies to perform SO many functions.

😳 If we don’t eat enough carbs, our bodies will break down protein found in our muscles, tissues and organs for energy.

🍞 Carbohydrates are tasty and help meals and snacks feel satisfying.
